I have written widely on topics including the history of British security discourses, the organisational origins of armed groups, and the use of computational methods in literary criticism. I have also disseminated my work through non-academic channels, including especially through an exhibition of visual research materials I organised in Sheffield in autumn 2023, which was incorporated into the UKRI Festival of Social Science. Hosted at two Sheffield venues over one week, the exhibition featured photographs from my research on the Northern Ireland ‘peace walls’, as well as data graphics visualising these walls’ effects for spatial mobility. The exhibition was accessed by over 30,000 viewers. I am currently working on an expanded version of the exhibition for spring 2025.
